A bright future for TOTAL PET NUTRITION

2018 saw some very positive changes with all of our recipes being upgraded and improved. Our Ultimate Weight Gain recipe has benefitted from the addition of a Full Joints Package.

Our Puppy recipe was improved and upgraded to our PRESTIGE RANGE which has gone down very well with breeders. Our Lamb and Rice recipe increased it’s Meat content by 50% which made it even tastier, the coats are Fantastic and the stool quality is incredible!! For any dogs suffering with problems relating to their anal glands this recipe is a must as it will naturally bleed them. It’s also a great recipe for large kennels or dogs that have the free run at home as it’s so easy to pick up after them.

Our Salmon and Potato recipe also enjoyed even more improvements to it’s already good stool quality. Our Light recipe was upgraded from white fish to a singular high grade meat source (Chicken) which has massively increased palatability and is also producing much better coat condition. We also changed the shape and density of the kibble so it now helps to remove plaque from your dogs teeth as they eat it. And finally our Turkey and Rice recipe is now even tastier with increased palatability.

But it’s not just our recipes that have enjoyed all of these improvements , our packaging was also upgraded towards the end of last year with our new foil fresh bags. You will also be pleased to hear that unlike many other companies that have been reducing their bag size ours have remained with the traditional 15kg size which we feel offers you the BEST VALUE FOR MONEY.

Swiftwood Sanctuary

Total Pet Nutrition – Ultimate Weight Gain recipe

Used by highly respected rescue organisations to bring dogs back to a healthy weight and condition.

Swiftwood Sanctuary provides safety and shelter for all creatures great and small from dogs to cows, horses and alpacas we tend to take in the animals nobody else wants to give a chance too such as large emotionally challenged dogs and farm animals, sometimes we seek new loving places for them to live but very often they are too far gone emotionally oftentimes due to the horrendous cruelty and neglect they have endured. At Swiftwood Sanctuary they get the chance to live the rest of their lives in comfort and safety.

We sometimes take animals with the aim of giving them a more respectful and painless death than they would have done had they stayed in their previous situation; even if it means they only get to spend a few hours or days here, at least they will have known love and a pain free end cradled in our arms with dignity.

We’re proud to say that we use Total Pet Nutrition for our Sanctuary dogs. We often take in very underweight and neglected large breeds such as Borzoi, GSDs, Dobermanns and Greyhounds. Since feeding our dogs Fat Boy the transformation in some of our very poor sighthounds has been absolutely remarkable – Despite having spent many years trying all sorts of different foods from raw to very expensive prestige kibbles Total Pet Nutrition’s Fat Boy has proved to be in a league of it’s own. Fat Boy

has consistently helped to get our underweight dogs back to healthy weights, the glucosamine and chondroitin helps their joints and the inclusion of salmon oil certainly gives them all a mirror like shine. We are so pleased with the results.

Swiftwood Sanctuary has been a self-funded Sanctuary for over 25 years and we are struggling with ever increasing bills and running costs.

Mari, Swiftwood Sanctuary’s Founder, rescued her first greyhound by saving up her dinner money to pay for his release from a council kennel and managed to just have the money on the day he was to be put to sleep, a few days later she returned to the kennels to take the terrier that had bitten her hand in fear – with her first job onwards she has spent most of her earnings rescuing desperate dogs and animals and the Sanctuary has grown from there. You can read about how the name Swiftwood came about on our website here.

If you can help in any way – even a few pounds for a bag of carrots or a bale of hay or treats for the dogs we would be absolutely so very grateful. Please have a look at the Swiftwood Sanctuary website gallery where you find some lovely pictures of our rescues. www.swiftwoodsanctuary.co.uk

Best in Show Winner – Worthing & District C.S. 15th July 2012

‘Having won Best In Show at Worthing CS with our 15 month old Japanese Chin Sleepyhollow Raphael JW ShCM, we were sent a bag of Salmon & Pototo as the prize’.

Ruby our Pointer, a renowned fussy eater due to a sensitive stomach, took to this immediately, in fact we had to limit her intake! Not withstanding this our Japanese Chins started to enjoy the product too and despite being a larger kibble than they were familiar with enjoyed the challenge of eating the larger biscuit.

I am looking forward to trying the ‘Fat Boy’ product and have ordered a bag along with another consignment of Salmon & Potato. Congratulations on your product & Good Luck’
